Data Recovery in Izmir

Data loss usually becomes permanent not because the device failed but because of what happens after. A deleted file does not vanish immediately; it stays until something is written over it.

So the first rule is: stop using the device. Do not format it, do not copy new files onto it, and do not install recovery software on it.

What we do, and what we do not

Our recovery work is software-based. We do not open drives physically or work on platters in a clean room.

The condition of the storage device is analysed, appropriate professional tools and a method are chosen, and scanning and recovery follow industry practice. Recovered files are written to a separate safe device, never back onto the source.

If the device is physically damaged — dropped, water exposed, snapped in a reader, or a drive making head noise — we say so plainly and tell you laboratory intervention is required.

When are the odds good?

High: accidentally deleted files, formatted memory cards, cards that appear empty but are not, emptied trash folders.

Medium: video interrupted mid-recording, damaged file systems, drives that spin but are not recognised.

Low: devices written over for a long time, securely erased drives, and hardware-encrypted SSDs whose key is lost.

SSDs also run TRIM, which can clear deleted data irreversibly within a short time. If you lost data on an SSD, time is the critical factor.

Camera and set archives

Because we come from film and photography, we see card failures often: a battery dying mid-take, a card pulled from the reader incorrectly, a full card reformatted by mistake.

For corrupted video, a healthy reference file shot on the same camera markedly improves repair odds — so please send one if you have it.

How the process runs

  1. AnalysisDevice condition and cause of loss are examined; an initial view on recovery odds is shared.
  2. ScanThe device is scanned with appropriate software to find accessible and deleted files.
  3. PreviewA file list is shared, so you see what can be recovered before the work is completed.
  4. RecoveryFiles are written to a separate safe device without touching the source.
  5. VerificationRecovered files are opened and checked for integrity.
  6. DeliveryFiles are handed over, with a backup recommendation.

Frequently asked questions

Do you charge if nothing is recovered?

We share a view on the odds after analysis. Pricing is agreed in writing before work starts, including what happens if nothing is recovered.

How long does it take?

Scanning takes from a few hours to a few days depending on size and condition. A deep scan of a one-terabyte drive usually takes about a day.

How is my data kept private?

Recovered data is held only for the duration of the job and deleted after handover. We confirm deletion in writing on request.

Do you recover from phones?

Phones use hardware encryption, so software-based recovery is usually not possible. Where a memory card is used, the card's contents can be recovered.
